Rekindle: A Shabbat Studio is a forum of learning, sharing, community building and radical amazement. The Studio included a range of formal and informal activities (including peer-led happenings and sessions, open space discussions and workshops) all designed to facilitate connections between Shabbat innovators – the movers and shakers of creative Shabbat programming around the world – and catalyze a community of practice.

Marcella graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in English. She holds an M.A. in Literature from San Francisco State University, with particular focus on the memoirs of early 20th-century Jewish American women writers. Prior to working with Be'chol Lashon, Marcella was an editor, copywriter, social media and content manager, and marketing consultant with Silicon Valley startups in the parenting and education spaces. As a Jew of color and the mother of two biracial Jewish children, she is particularly committed to Be'chol Lashon's mission-portraying Jews as a multicultural people- through learning and resources to students around the world through its Passport to Peoplehood educational resources.
