Rekindle: A Shabbat Studio has ended
Rekindle: A Shabbat Studio is a forum of learning, sharing, community building and radical amazement. The Studio included a range of formal and informal activities (including peer-led happenings and sessions, open space discussions and workshops) all designed to facilitate connections between Shabbat innovators – the movers and shakers of creative Shabbat programming around the world – and catalyze a community of practice.

The Shabbos Project
Project Manager
Tanya Greenberg is a 27 year old new immigrant to Israel from South Africa. Since moving to Israel, Tanya has settled down in Tel Aviv working for the Shabbat Project in Israel. Her role involves heading up the operations in Israel as well as a global call centre which runs from the centre of Tel Aviv in Israel bringing the Shabbat project to the world in 7 languages (English, French, Hebrew, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Turkish). Tanya has a BA in political science and international relations, but started her career in Johannesburg, South Africa managing an emergency control centre and later heading up the business operations for CAP- Community Active Protection; a private for the community security organisation for the prevention of crime in Johannesburg. Nowadays, when she is not, or sometimes when she is simultaneously, engrossed in the Shabbat project, she loves to spend her time traveling to new destinations, returning to visit India, exploring the ins and outs of Tel Aviv and Israel as a whole, spending time with her family and friends, and looking for new, creative and innovative ways to learn about new things and enjoy the culture of the country.
